I’m incredibly awkward in front of a camera. Can you help?
Absolutely. This is the most common thing people tell me.
My approach is relaxed and conversational. We walk, we talk, and I photograph the moments in between. There is no stiff posing or forced smiles. I will gently guide you when needed, where to stand and what to do with your hands, so you are never left feeling unsure or uncomfortable.
Do you choose the location or do I?
It is a collaboration.
If there is a place that is meaningful to you, we can absolutely shoot there. If not, I have a curated list of locations around Sydney, including quiet streets, coastal spots, parks, and urban corners. I will suggest something based on the mood or vibe you want to achieve.
What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel like yourself.
Once you book, I will send you a simple style guide with suggestions around colours, textures, and what tends to work best on camera. If you are booked for The Narrative or The Visual Diary, you are welcome to bring outfit changes so we can create a mix of looks.
Do I get the RAW (unedited) photos?
No. I do not deliver RAW files.
Editing is a big part of the final look. Every image is carefully edited for colour, contrast, and tone to create a cohesive cinematic feel. What you receive are high resolution, fully finished images that reflect the final artistic vision of the work.
What happens if it rains?
We have a couple of options, and we will decide together.
Overcast weather is actually beautiful for photos. The light is soft, flattering, and often creates a slightly moodier feel. Light rain can also add atmosphere if you are open to it.
If the weather is unsafe or you are set on a sunny look, we can reschedule to the next available date at no extra cost.
How long until I get my photos?
You will receive a small sneak peek of two to three images within 24 hours so you have something to share straight away.
Your full gallery will be delivered within three to five days.
