Frequently asked questions
Can I choose the music?
Music plays a huge role in the final film. I use professional, licensed music libraries to select tracks that fit the mood and are safe for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and paid ads.
If you have a specific song in mind, let me know early and I can check whether licensing is possible
Do I get the RAW footage?
Generally, no. RAW footage is uncoloured, unedited, and not a finished or viewable product. You’re commissioning a completed film, which includes colour grading, sound design, and pacing.
RAW footage may be made available for archival or internal use by request and at an additional cost, subject to approval.
Do you do storyboards?
Yes. Every film we create is planned in advance, regardless of length. This may include storyboards, shot lists, or a planning call to align on mood, pacing, and key moments so the shoot runs efficiently.
What if I need a drone?
Drone footage can be included where appropriate, weather permitting, and where airspace regulations allow. It’s used selectively to enhance scale and establish the scene, not as a default.
How many changes can I make to the edit?
Each film package includes a defined number of revision rounds:
The Highlight: 1 round
The Narrative: 2 rounds
Revisions are handled as a consolidated list of notes per round. Additional revisions beyond what’s included are billed at an hourly editing rate.
