Images captured during your session are delivered to you via a private online gallery. We may use selected images for portfolio purposes (website, social media, print) unless you have requested otherwise in writing prior to or at the time of booking.
If you would prefer your images remain completely private, please notify us and we will honour that request at no additional charge.
Your personal information is stored securely and accessed only by us. We use industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above, or as required by law.

By booking a session or service with Lumen & Vale, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. These terms apply to all portrait, commercial, and wedding services provided by Lumen & Vale, Sydney, NSW, Australia.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of enquiry and is typically 30–50% of the total package fee.
Your date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the session date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We understand that circumstances change. Our policy is as follows:
In the event of severe weather or circumstances outside your control, we will reschedule at no charge.
Edited images are typically delivered within 5–7 business days for portrait sessions and 4–6 weeks for weddings, via a private online gallery. Rush delivery may be available on request and may incur an additional fee. Timeframes are indicative and may vary during peak periods.
All images and video content created by Lumen & Vale remain the intellectual property of Lumen & Vale. Upon full payment, clients are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the images for personal and social media purposes.
Commercial clients receive a commercial licence as specified in their package. Resale, sublicensing, or transfer of images to third parties without written permission is not permitted.
Lumen & Vale reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless the client has requested otherwise in writing.

Clients with subjects under 18 years of age must ensure a parent or guardian is present for the duration of the session.
Lumen & Vale carries professional indemnity insurance. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling a booking, our liability is limited to a full refund of all amounts paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
